NCTM has been busy -- there are regional conferences coming up in October, the 2017 Innov8 Conference, upcoming Annual Meetings, A Centennial Conference, an election, a new Principles to Actions Toolkit, and much, much more.. It's time to register for the 57th Georgia Mathematics Conference at Rock Eagle being held October 19-21, 2016!
The theme will focus on "Principles to Actions", as recently addressed by NCTM.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from some fantastic keynote speakers (Erica Walker of Columbia University, Jenny Bay-Williams from the University of Louisville, and Pamela Weber Harris from the University of Texas), a host of other featured speakers (Erin Talley, Miranda Sanders, Pamela Seda, Kasele Mshinda, David Custer, James Burnett, Kevin Moore, Marielle Myers, Wendy Sanchez, Lisa Sheehy), a special "Ignite" session, and many more presenters from schools and universities throughout Georgia, as they share their expertise at this year's conference.

A 5th listening session will be held in early October in the Atlanta metropolitan area. NCTM will hold their Summer Institutes in Atlanta this year: July 11-13 for teachers of grades K-8 and July 14-16 for teachers of grades 9-12.
The session will be held at the Theatre Dublin, 314 Academy Avenue, Dublin GA 31021, and will follow the schedule below: Your participation is important and will help the House and Senate Committees identify the key issues and solutions from teachers on these important matters.Please tell your fellow teachers about this vital meeting and encourage them to attend.
